The Far East at Sushi Samba

An evening taking in Asian inspired influences for an event at one of London's hippest highest event spaces

A long term client of ours came to us with a brief to transform a space they have utilised before, Sushi Samba. With an initial idea for an Asian/Oriental inspired event FullCircle’s design team developed concepts, artwork, plans and visuals along the lines of ‘one night in Japan’ for the large multinational bank’s varied portfolio of customers and clients.

After many back and forths, the concepts and eventual detail was finalised before being installed in one of London’s most sought after event spaces, Sushi Samba, an elegant contemporary restaurant in the city’s Heron Tower

Design elements included a Tokyo inspired light box display in the lounge area with Neon LED batons and furniture. This was preceded by 200 gold lucky cats enthusiastically waving guests through the entrance from their turquoise perch.

The main space contained a blossom bar with bespoke decals flanked by beautiful LED blossom trees and a full sized rickshaw providing the perfect photo opportunity. Japanese style wooden tables and chairs completed the look.

Out on the picturesque terrace, the tree was adorned with multi coloured cranes all the way from Japan whilst further gold detailing including metallic plinths and bars alongside floating lilies all added to the feel.

The entertainment team provided traditional geishas to meet and greet guests and to give them a warm eastern welcome.
